maddieonthings: This country doesn’t always do what’s right. It’s even guilty of intentionally doing what’s wrong. But it’s also beautiful. And full of folks who’s hearts are focused on being good stewards of the blessings we’ve been given. Here’s to those who passed and the wonderful search dogs who went looking for the lost

Skinny Sausage Alfredo.
Is that possible? Yep.
Ingredients: 3 links of turkey sausage, 1 cup of light cream, 3 cloves of garlic, 1 shallot, nutmeg, olive oil, salt and pepper, parmesan cheese, fettuccine.
Boil water for pasta and cook when ready.
Heat olive oil, slice garlic and shallot paper thin and add to heated oil. Saute for a couple of minutes. Slice turkey sausage and add to garlic and shallot. Saute until sausage is browned on both sides. Add 1 cup of light cream along with salt, pepper and nutmeg (to taste) and add about 1/4 cup of grated parmesan cheese. Stir until sauce is thickened. Add a couple spoonfuls of alfredo sauce to the pasta and mix until noodles are coated. Serve and add the rest of the alfredo and sausage to the pasta. Sprinkle with shredded parmesan, fresh ground pepper and a dash of nutmeg.
